Ophthalmology is a diverse and rapidly advancing field. We remain committed to furthering

Specialized adult eye care and cutting edge research takes place in the 40,000 square foot
Regional Eye Centre located at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
Major research themes include genetics and tele-ophthalmology, all of which seek
to improve visual health and to translate research advances
directly into improved clinical practice.
The Department of Ophthalmology announces a call for abstracts for the 2013 Research Day planned for Friday, May 31, 2013. Format guidelines and a template are accessible here. Deadline for submission is Monday, May 6th, 2013.
A Team to Prevent Blindness has been established to develop a program of research into the major causes of blindness.
